Finally, our donation programs are done.

Once again...Happy Earth Day everyone. May celebration this year bring a bit impact on our daily life. Below is photo of slip bank transfer (amount of Rp 2.000.000) to World Wide Fund's account number. Some beads on the photo, we'll send them include the form of donation plus slip bank to WWF address in Jakarta. Let them know that a lot of people still have concern about  Sumatera tiger. May the donation can encourage them to keep trying to protect the native habitat of sumatera tiger

The second donation is to celebrate the life of Judy Glende. We succeed to collect US$35. And we decide to donate the money to Massachusetts General Hospital, Department of Dermatology Melanoma Research Fund. Just a few minutes ago we succeed to send the fund. Here the Thank You note from Mass. General Hospital.

Earth Day Fundraising

Finally we have the result for our Earth Day Collection which dedicate to Sahabat Harimau. Admittedly, there is little sense of disappointment, because of the 26 packages that are provided, not SOLD OUT. But we could understand. Many unexpected things can happen. But still, we thank you for your participation to succeed the Earth Day fundraising this year.

From three kind of package, we managed to raise a fund of Rp 2.000.000 that will be donated to one of WWF's program that moves in the sumatera tiger conservation - Sahabat Harimau -
There is an increasing amount of funds collected when compared to last year.

In Memory of Judy Glende

We have not been too long familiar with Judy. She pass-away on March 14th 2012 because of melanoma. Seeing so many people who join to celebrate the life of Judy Glende, make our hearts moved. Accidently, on saturday April 14th 2012, we launched the collection with theme Black Ribbon. Black ribbon is for melanoma awareness.

Melanoma is less common than other skin cancers. However, it is much more dangerous if it is not found early. It Causes the majority (75%) of Deaths related to skin cancer. Worldwide, doctors diagnose about 160.000 new cases of melanoma yearly. The diagnosis is more frequent in women than in men. In women, the most common site is the legs and melanomas in men are most common on the back.

Proceeds from sale of the three items above are Rp 315,250. We use tax exchange rate today ==> US$1 = Rp 9125So the total amount to donate is US$ 34.548We round-up to US$ 35The donation will go to :Massachusetts General Hospital, Department of Dermatology Melanoma Research Fund.
