What on earth on July? Specially on 16th of July. It's Apollo 11 mission landed the first humans on the moon. To celebrate this day, we have special designs on our glass beads. We want you travelling to space through our glass beads collection. It will talk a brief knowledge about universe that exist along with us. Promise...we won't scare you with this theme *smile* we just want you to have a vision of the universe, that tells us, undeniably, how tiny and insignificant and how rare and precious we all are. A vision that tells us that we belong to something that is greater then ourselves.
Back again on earth. Lets have a brief history of Apollo 11. Launched on July 16th 1969, the third lunar mission of NASA's Apollo program was crewed by Commander Neil Alden Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene 'Buzz" Aldin, Jr. On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the moon, while Collins orbited in the Command Module. The mission fulfilled President John F. Kennedy's goal of reaching the moon by the end of the 1960s which he had expressed during a speech given before a joint session of Congress on May 25th 1961 "I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely yo the earth."
